Subdued JCK Vegas Show Meets Expectations

The JCK Las Vegas show closed on Monday with diamond suppliers satisfied with the level of sales even though trading activity was slower than previous years. Exhibitors noted that buyers bought goods to fill orders but they avoided larger scale purchases to fill inventory.

Blom Praises EGL International For 'Vigilance' In Uncovering Synthetic Stones

World Federation of Diamond Bourses President Ernie Blom has praised the EGL International laboratory in Israel for its "vigilance" after the lab discovered four synthetic diamonds in a parcel of 20 stones submitted by a long-time client. >>>
