 Consumers were generally feeling upbeat and spending for Mother's Day, according to a spot-check of jewelers conducted by JCK. Mother's Day sales "were fabulous compared to last year," says Mike Warren, owner of Warren Jewellers in Lancaster, Pa. "Number one was Pandora. Pandora is just explosive. Survey: Strong sales drive show attendance

 Sales have improved over the past 12 months for the majority of retail jewelers, and the improvement is expected to continue through the rest of the year, a survey conducted by The Nielsen Expositions Jewelry Group shows. More than half of those polled said their sales have increased either slightly (37 percent) or significantly (17 percent) over the past 12 months. >>>
