Jewelry With Stories to Tell By SUZY MENKES The New York Times July 12, 2010
PARIS - You don't need 3-D glasses for the sculpted shapes to stand out and the colors to pop. But the high jewelry that had an open day during last week's haute couture season is finely tuned to the latest fashion. Whether it is a balloon dangling from a necklace as part of a Jules Verne inspiration at Van Cleef & Arpels or the voluptuous and brightly colored Bollywood influences at Dior, the haute joaillerie told its stories in an almost cinematic style.

By Catherine Dayrit National Jeweler July 12, 2010
This summer's cacophonous prints and bohemian-inspired apparel are a siren call for jewelry that can stand out. Explore the Art of Polymer Clay
By Karla Rosenbusch Jewelry Making Daily July 09, 2010
Most jewelry makers I know love to try out different media and techniques to expand and increase their skills. I recently decided almost on a whim to experiment with polymer clay. Fortunately, I didn't have to look any further than my own living room wall for inspiration. My father was an extremely talented fine artist--a skill I did not inherit but which I can definitely appreciate.

How to Protect Your Business Privacy
Business.com July 06, 2010
For millions of small business owners, the lines between personal and business privacy are thin. Diamonds from Lip to Toe
By Roe Kalb The Israeli Diamond Industry Blog July 05, 2010
Before this year's World Cup began, it was a safe bet that few people outside South Africa had ever heard of a vuvuzela, let alone a gold-and-diamond-decked one. But a Russian businessman approached Austrian jeweler Klemens Pointner about gilding and bejeweling one of the long plastic horns for a business contact who'd come down with World Cup Fever. Pointner told his client that while he could set the horn with as many diamonds as he wanted, there were few vuvuzelas to be had in Austria. >>>
