Know - How
'Cultured' Diamonds. Are they real?

Diamonds are a girl's best friend. But what about "cultured" or man-made diamonds? Are they really diamonds? What's the catch? Steve Lux, CEO of Gemesis, the first company to market cultured gem-quality diamonds, has some answers. "Imagine an orchid in the jungle growing in nature," Steve says. Today's diamond marketplace is incredibly competitive and profit margins are razor thin.
In this climate of "survival of the fittest", an increasing number of companies are looking for a niche for the simple sake of surviving. >>>

Discounting Christmas
Forbes.com Tom Van Riper, 11.08.07

Sparkle of the season: The best jewelry trends
By Bobbie Thomas Wed.,Nov.7, 2007
