RING TAKEN IN GRAB AND RUN LOCATED IN TOILET AT COUNTY JAIL Jackson Township, OH – March 27, 2007 Two suspects entered a chain retail jewelry store shortly before 6:00 p.m. and looked at rings. One suspect grabbed a two-carat ideal cut diamond ring and both suspects ran out the door. Two accomplices were waiting outside in a stolen minivan. The four suspects drove to a McDonald’s, abandoned the stolen car, and got into a rental car. A witness provided police with a description of the vehicle and a partial license plate. The suspects were apprehended shortly thereafter. Police suspected that one of the suspects had swallowed the ring. The ring was later found, with the tag still on it, when county sanitary workers were called to the county jail and located the ring in the suspect’s toilet. More JSA's Most Wanted
