Free Twitter Analytics for All

Wow. The exciting Social Media News keeps on coming this week, and well, I love it. Have any of you shared in my explorations of third-party applications to obtain your Twitter Analytics? I've investigated, and enjoyed helpful insights from applications like Klout, Social Bro and TweetGrader to 'check myself' and my reach analytics on the Twitter circuit over the past few years. These apps are great, by the way. Your welcome for the endorsement.

Now, however, Twitter has thrown us a digital bone that will make it easier to discover how well your tweets are performing without needing to use an extra application. Free access to comprehensive analytics of your twitter activity will be presented in your dashboard on Twitter's Advertising Page.

To access these features, simply log in to your account on Twitter's advertising page. You will see an option in the top left with an option to view analytics for your timeline activity. Here you will be able to check the performance of your recent tweets, number of retweets, favorites and click-throughs each tweet receives.

This is a pretty big deal, by the way. These tools have already existed, but this is the first time the super social platform, famous for the inception of community micro-blogging, has made them free and available to use for all users. The Next Web, which was the first to report the change. As reported, Twitter has not yet responded to multiple inquiries for comment.

To access these features, simply log in to your account on Twitter's advertising page. There, you'll see an option in the top left to view analytics for your timeline activity, which displays the performance of your recent tweets.

You'll also see an option to review analytics on your Twitter followers, which breaks down their interests, locations and gender, and charts out follower growth.
