After a catastrophic tornado tore through the chunk of Oklahoma surrounding Oklahoma City on Monday afternoon, celebrities are reaching out through social media to encourage citizens to help find relief for the devastated. An official death count has yet to be secured by the Oklahoma City Medical Examiner's Office following the horrific twister. Last night, the President approved a Major Disaster Declaration for Oklahoma, making federal funding available to support affected individuals, as well as additional federal assistance to support immediate response and recovery efforts.
Celebrities have rushed to the familiar Twitter to reach the millions affected by the incredible storms in Oklahoma. Toby Keith, Ellen DeGeneres and Trisha Yearwood are a just a handful of the Hollywood sweethearts tweeting with information on how to find survivors, ways to help and spreading the word on resources available.

Once again, in a time of tragedy Twitter has become a sounding board for thoughts, condolences and ways to give back.
"Text REDCROSS to 90999 to help Oklahoma tornado victims," tweeted Parks & Recreationstar Adam Scott, providing the most nationally accessible means of aiding those affected by a mile-wide tornado that ripped through the Oklahoma City suburb of Moore this afternoon, killing at least 51 people.
"This storm has devastated the community that I grew up in," said homeboy Toby Keith in a statement. "I rode my bike through those neighborhoods. I have family and friends in Moore. My heart and prayers go to those that have lost so much. But Moore is strong and we will persevere. God be with you all."
"Pray for everyone devastated by these storms, but especially for those families in Moore, OK right now...God, wrap your arms around this community," Trisha Yearwood posted on her Facebook page.
"I just want to send my love to anyone who lives in the path of these storms. First Texas, now Oklahoma. You're all in our thoughts..," wrote Ellen DeGeneres.
