PANDORA opened its 1,000th concept store yesterday at the Paris Beaugrenelle shopping mall, the city's second-largest mall in the city.
The Beaugrenelle store, located near the Eiffel Tower, prominently features PANDORA’s Eiffel Tower charm, which is its best-selling charm in France and among its global best sellers.
About seven million people ascend the Eiffel Tower every year and many more tourists and Parisians stroll past the tower yearly.
Concept Stores generate approximately half of PANDORA’s direct sales. PANDORA expects to open around 175 Concept Stores in 2013.
PANDORA, founded in 1982, designs, manufactures and markets hand-finished and modern jewelry and is sold in more than 70 countries on six continents.
