U.S. jewelry and watch sales from all retail outlets increased 3.3 percent year on year to an estimated $6.9 billion in November 2015, according to provisional figures from the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

De Beers disagrees with Rapaport’s claims

De Beers said it disagrees with the Rapaport group chairperson, Martin Rapaport, who late last month out at the diamond group for destroying long-term client trust while bankrupting the diamond trade for the sake of short-term balance sheet profits.
