Two trends have been underway recently which could potentially shake up a century-long status quo in the diamond mining and production industry. These two catalysts may potentially be huge game changers for the diamond market and cause a once-in-a-lifetime epic bull run in the price of diamonds, perhaps similar to the recent more-than-a-decade-long gold market rally. >>>

The battle for market-share is raging between traditional stores and online operations. And this is not confined to the diamond jewelry sector, it's taking place in every consumer category. By Jennifer Heebner                            JCK               June 21, 2013

Amber just might be the unsung darling of the gemstone world. It's affordable (you can buy pieces at shows for just a few dollars), lightweight (making it ideal for fashioning into huge statement pieces), and well storied (the fossilized tree resin can serve as a time capsule, sometimes trapping visible insects). >>>
