JSA: Grab-and-run crimes more than double in '06

New York—The number of grab-and-run crimes at jewelry stores increased 146 percent in 2006, according to statistics from the Jewelers' Security Alliance (JSA).

The JSA recorded 419 grab-and-run crimes for the year.
