SUSPECT IN SIX JEWELRY STORE ROBBERIES INDICTED Bridgeport, CT – January 3, 2007 Jerry Kenyatta Carter, a suspect in six armed robberies of jewelry stores in Connecticut, including robberies in Westport, Enfield and other towns, was indicted by a federal grand jury. Carter faces multiple felony charges for the six crimes which occurred between 2004 and 2006, and which totaled $2.5 million in losses. The suspect was previously convicted in state court of conspiracy to commit murder and possession of narcotics.
