OWNER BEATEN, 14-YEAR OLD DAUGHTER TIED UP Upland, CA – August 16, 2006 Three black males went into a retail jewelry store at 10:20 a.m. and looked at watches. When the owner went to help them, one of the robbers pulled a gun. The robbers hit the owner in the head with the gun after he refused to tell them where the cash was kept. The owner’s 14-year-old daughter was in the store, and the robbers tied her up in the back of the store and pointed a gun at her when she tried to help her father. The robbers, who fled with cash and some watches, were described as in their early 20s, wearing fisherman hats, ripped baggy jeans and tennis shoes. More
