Major pearl co-op campaign launches this fall

JUNE 26, 2006 - New York -- Perles de Tahiti will partner with South Sea pearl producer Autore Group for a co-op marketing campaign this fall.

"We believe that working together with Autore to showcase extraordinary pearls is ultimately beneficial to buyers and retailers, as well as pearl producers," Perles de Tahiti President and Chief Executive Officer Martin Coeroli said in a statement.

The million-dollar campaign will also feature pieces from pearl jewelry design houses Assael, Mastoloni and Tara & Sons. Brand marketing firm Padulo International has created the campaign, which will appear in select luxury magazines.

"We are very proud to be invited to partner with Perles de Tahiti to promote the beauty and glamour of South Sea pearls in this campaign," Autore President and CEO Rosario Autore said in a statement.

The trade organization Perles de Tahiti aims to encourage Tahitian pearl sales worldwide.

Aurore specializes in white and gold South Sea pearls. The group represents pearl producers from Western Australia and Indonesia, and it has a manufacturing division, which will launch a jewelry collection in the United States this fall.
