Jewelry brands and celebrities are teaming up this month in support of Autism Awareness Month. Together they are displaying and spreading the word with heart warming jewelry and social media campaigning.
Breitling watches and Persona charms are donating a portion of their sales to foundations in support of autism and autism research. The Persona charm brand joined with the Autism Speaks and hosted a bead contest in search of new design ideas for the Persona Autism Speaks collection.
The contest was promoted via social media and the winning design was a dangle heart bead from Beverly Muzzy of Claremore, Oklahoma. The runner up design was a turtle dangle with puzzle-print shells in shades of blue.
Talk show host Holly Robinson Peete is selling a stretch bracelet made up of amethyst beads and a HollyRod charm to raise money for the HollyRod Foundation in honor of Autism Awareness Month.
Celebrities such as Brooke Burke from Dancing with the Stars, Sherri Shepard from The View, and Basketball Wives’ Shaunie O’Neal are helping the cause by tweeting about Holly’s efforts and jewelry to help spread the message.
