Celebrated Diamonds

Share on:

It's April, and we've been celebrating the diamond all month long. Diamonds are not only the birthstone of April, but also one of the most well known and sought after gemstones. Symbolic of love, excellence and purification, diamonds are also considered to have strong and historic magical powers. The April diamond is both invincibly strong and brilliantly stunning. These gemstones have, and continue to reign supreme in their symbolism of power, strength, brilliance and unparalleled beauty.

Proof of the existence of diamonds dates back to the beginning of the 3rd century, where an Indian description written describes strength, regularity, brilliance, ability to scratch metals, and good refractive properties as the desirable qualities of a diamond. Diamonds have been utilized as the gemstone for traditional engagement rings since at least the 15th century.

Diamonds are formed throughout centuries of erosion within volcanic rock, deeply embedded within the earth and crystallized through intense natural heat. This is just one of reasons for which diamonds are one of the earths’ most miraculous natural creations, also known for being the symbol of eternal love. As this gemstone has endured centuries of intense heat, volcanic rock, the Dark Ages, Renaissance, even the ’80s, the gift of a diamond successfully represents the unbreakable bond of everlasting love.

The crystallized carbon that evolves into diamonds …

April, we sure do adore you.

And your Diamonds too!

JCK recently published a spectacular Blog Post, which concerned itself with paying homage to 35 of their top picks for Blogs about diamonds. What a splendid idea! So splendid in fact, that myself and my buddies here at GemFind agree that our audience would benefit from a quick re-share of this sparkly eye candy.

We've even created a Pinterest Board for our 'Celebrated Diamonds'! You can find that board by clicking right here:  http://pinterest.com/gemfind/celebrated-diamonds/

Please enjoy the following array of spectacular creations, highlighting the miracle of crystallized carbon evolved into diamonds!

"April’s birthstone has never looked better with this engagement ring from MK Diamonds & Jewelry, set with an ultra-desirable pink center stone. The radiant-cut center diamond sits in a complementary 18k rose gold setting dotted with pink diamonds, making it pop from its white gold setting with pear-shape diamond sides. The pretty-in-pink design—which fully satisfies our desire for spring pastels—will appeal to your chicest shoppers all year long. Magnifique!"
